In 2000, Chris joined his father-in-law, Richard Davis, at A.G. Edwards* in Mequon, Wisconsin. Chris and his business partner, Pete Kobin, moved from the Mequon office in 2011 and opened an independently owned office for Wells Fargo Advisors Financial Network in Cedarburg. They merged with Barth Guilette’s office in Sturgeon Bay in 2012 creating CedarDoor Wealth Management, and welcomed new partner, Carrie Schilz, in 2015. Chris has worked as both an advisor and as a branch manager.

After graduating from the University of Wisconsin in Madison with a degree in engineering, Chris worked several years for Johnson Controls, and earned an MBA from Northwestern University. He then accepted a job working for Hewlett-Packard in Colorado. While living in Colorado, Chris was part of an investment club that he really enjoyed that led him to his career change in 2000.

Chris lives in Cedarburg with his wife Lisa, a physical therapist. They enjoy spending family time with their two sons, Kyle and Jackson; daughter, Annika; daughter-in-law, Kimmy; and of course, grandchildren, Raelynn and Parker. Chris and Lisa are also members of the Milwaukee Curling Club.

Pete is dedicated to helping clients meet their financial needs by developing investment plans around their long-term goals and risk tolerance. Pete’s extensive experience –throughout major shifts in the market – enables him to help his clients structure balanced portfolios to address their specific financial goals. Pete began his financial services career in 2005 as a Financial Advisor with A.G. Edwards*. In 2011, Pete and his business partner, Chris Crain, opened an independently owned office for Wells Fargo Advisors Financial Network in Cedarburg. They merged with Barth Guilette’s office in Sturgeon Bay in 2012 creating CedarDoor Wealth Management. In 2013, Pete became a partner of CedarDoor Wealth Management, along with Chris, and in 2015 they welcomed new partner, Carrie Schilz.

Pete is a graduate of Carroll University with a degree in Economics and Business Administration. Previous work experience for Pete includes 24 years developing systems in the financial services industry, 16 of those years with eFunds Corporation including global responsibilities in 28 countries.

Pete and his wife Jean reside in Cedarburg and have three adult sons. Pete and Jean enjoy biking and kayaking and spending time at their cottage in Fish Creek.

Carrie graduated from University of Wisconsin-Green Bay with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. Previously she worked for a public accounting firm, followed by a shipbuilding company and a non-profit organization.

Outside of her professional career, Carrie is an active member of her community serving on various boards in the past and is currently a board member for the Sunshine House Inc. Carrie and her husband, Chris, live in Door County and have one adult son, Jacob, and daughter-in-law, Kristin. In her spare time, Carrie enjoys hiking, boating, reading, gardening, and everything Packers.

Corey’s mission as a financial advisor is to first listen to what matters most to clients, create a customized investment plan, and celebrate transforming goals into reality. As a life-long optimist, Corey enjoys helping people focus on the happiness and positivity in their lives. He believes investment planning relieves stress and uncertainty and allows people to focus on the things in life that bring them joy.

After graduating from Carroll University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Actuarial Science, Corey worked as an actuary at Assurant Health then Northwestern Mutual for 5 years in total. He changed careers to begin financial advising, also with NM, in 2017. In 2021, Corey joined the CedarDoor Wealth Management team.

Corey lives in Cedarburg with his wife and three children. He enjoys being active, being outside, food, travel, reading, and spending time with his family.

Jon takes a client first approach to servicing your financial objectives. Drawing on his academic training, entrepreneurial experience, and professional background, Jon’s approach blends technical expertise with personalized service. With a strong background in investment planning tools, he specializes in investment plans for individuals and businesses, focusing on long-term wealth management and financial empowerment. Whether you're preparing for retirement, expanding your business, or navigating complex financial challenges, Jon is committed to guiding you every step of the way, helping clients turn financial goals into reality. It is his goal to empower people and businesses to have strong financial lives so they can focus on what is important to them and their communities.

Jon began his career in wealth management at Nicolet National Bank in 2021, where he quickly became a trusted advisor dedicated to helping clients navigate their financial journeys. His experience at Nicolet provided hands-on expertise in investment strategy, retirement planning, and tax optimization, laying the groundwork for his client-first approach. In 2025, Jon joined the CedarDoor Wealth Management team.

A proud graduate of Upper Iowa University, Jon holds bachelor’s degrees in finance, accounting, and business administration, along with a Master’s in Corporate Finance. Before entering the financial services industry, Jon owned and operated his own business from 2018 to 2022, gaining firsthand experience in entrepreneurship, financial management, and the challenges faced by small business owners.

Jon lives in Green Bay. He enjoys being spending time with family and friends, traveling and cooking up spicy foods.

With more than 15 years of financial services experience, Kim works hard to make sure our operations run smoothly.  Kim works out of the Cedarburg office assisting clients in opening and updating accounts, transferring money, and answering absolutely any question our clients may have. She previously was with The Bog Golf Course as Controller.

Kim lives in West Bend with her husband Cliff.  She has three daughters: Nicole, Rebekah, and Hannah, as well as one son, Nathan.  She also has three grandchildren: twins, Jackson and Nora, and Jade.  Kim and Cliff enjoy camping, boating, and hanging out with the grandchildren.

Sierra works out of the Sturgeon Bay office handling administrative functions, including assisting clients with their accounts, scheduling appointments, and backing up Kim. After obtaining her associates degree for Administrative Professional from Northeast Wisconsin Technical College, Sierra was the Operations Manager for a radio station group, followed by a Program Specialist for a non-profit organization, before joining our team in 2018.

Sierra and her husband, Zach, live in southern Door County with their two children, Savannah and Kaiden. She loves spending time with her family, traveling to their cabin in Pembine and touring around by motorcycle or snowmobile.  Sierra also enjoys continuing to expand her canning and baking skills, especially with products from their garden.

Kyle works out of the Cedarburg office helping Chris create marketing materials for finding new clients. Kyle also helps Chris create content for his ongoing outreach for teaching financial concepts to upcoming generations about the “Big Picture”. Kyle joined the team in 2021, after having gained experience in sales.

Kyle lives in Cedarburg with his wife Kimberly, daughter Raelynn, and son Parker. As a family, they love spending time outside with their dog, Koda. Kyle also plays soccer for the Milwaukee Wave.
